Frequently asked questions

Pads, machines and ordering

What is a sanitary pad vending machine?

It gives quick, private and hygienic access to menstrual products in places such as schools, offices, hospitals and community centres. Machines can take coins, cash notes, RFID cards, QR codes or a push button, depending on the model.

How should a school dispose of used pads?

The simplest option is a lidded bin in every cubicle, emptied daily by a named person. Where power and upkeep are available, an incinerator is another option. Our guides on disposal and incinerators explain the trade-offs.

Where can I read more about pad vending and disposal?

On our blog. We publish plain guides on how vending machines work, how to choose and run one, where to put a machine and a bin, and how pad incinerators work.

What else do you build?

We build a missed-call water pump controller, the Waiter Ping table pager, the Pothi egg incubator, Hydrofrost water chillers, Shabghar mortuary storage and Alokya lights.

Do you design custom hardware?

Yes. We offer engineering consulting, PCB design and prototyping, 3D printing and industrial automation.
